It occurs when the relative humidity is close to 100%, there's litte wind, and there's termic inversion (that generates the condensation). It produces a cold and humit sensation. It has a whitinsh or gray color.Depending on the degree of visibility, the following terms can be used: very dense or very thick or very dense fog (less than 50 m.), dense or thick fog (50 - 100 m.), moderate fog (100 - 500 m.) and light or thin fog (500 - 1.000 m.).
